I have been a watercolor student for only three years starting at the age of 63. I have discovered that anyone can tap into their creative nature if they give themselves the gift of time and the inclination to do so.
Dimitri has taught me in watercolor almost anything can be changed and rearranged, contrary to popular belief that watercolor is difficult and unchangeable. It is a medium that can express one's artistic ability in any art form . . . whether it be landscape, still life, abstract, portraits, . . or just plain color and fun.
It can put one in a space to be quiet and meditative . . . . even for short periods of time. Dimitri's talent has motivated me to "think outside the box" and tap into creativity I never knew I had. He is a great teacher and his demonstrations are inspiring. My class with Dimitri is one I look forward to each week and come away always learning something new.
